RONNDELL'S DROP
A PADDLE.
A RESET.
A WAY BACK.
The Drop was created by Ronndell Smith, who picked up a pickleball paddle for the first time in 2023 during one of the hardest periods of his life. While recovering from addiction, pickleball became more than a game — it became the thing that got him out of the house, gave him something to look forward to, and helped him find himself again.
He fell in love with the sport pretty quickly. He also realized pretty quickly that going pro probably wasn't in the cards.
So he found another way into the game: fashion.
Ronndell had always loved clothes, but he felt like a lot of pickleball apparel didn't represent how he wanted to look away from the court. He wanted something with style. Something you could wear after the match, to dinner, around the city, or anywhere else and still feel fly.

Then in 2026, Ronndell lost his job with a wife and a baby on the way. Life forced another pivot. Instead of letting the setback stop him, he decided it was time to turn the idea into something real.

In pickleball, the drop shot is about patience, touch, timing, and knowing when to make your move. Life isn't much different.
Sometimes the biggest moments come when you change direction, bet on yourself, and put the ball exactly where you want it.
The Drop was created for people who love the game but refuse to let the game define their style.
